We are almost to the end of April and we find ourselves in Sparks, Nevada. There is an industrial park just outside of Sparks, called McCarran. There are several large distribution centers that service companies such as Pet Smart, Wal-Mart and a few engineering firms. The best part of going there is that on occasion we will get to see herds of Wild Mustangs. They are such beautiful horses.
The next day we are going to Oregon. On the way there we pass Mt. Shasta. There is snow on the top of this mountain year round. There are a few small towns that cater to the tourist crowd and skiers.
The cloud formations in Oregon, for some reason seem to be more intense. They are so different. I guess one reason is all the moisture they hold. Oregon and Washington State aren't green all the time for no reason. It rains there almost all the time.
It would seem that we have hit the flat lands or Oregon, but we are just heading towards another mountain range, off in the distance. The terrain can be deceiving at times, when you look off in the distance.
As we drew closer to the mountains you can see the how they change over the miles. The valleys are beautiful and rugged.
You have to find humor wherever you can find it sometimes.
Now we are heading towards the Colombia River. It is a long road to travel. The mountains in the distance is where we are going.
The bridges over the river are beautiful. The design of the spans, appear as if they were spun by a spider.
There is something to be said about mountains and clouds. It appears that Heaven is meeting Earth and the angels are watching over us. I can just picture them, sitting on top of the fluffy clouds guiding us from above.
.
Once again, I find another interesting thing to take a picture of. Then I became curious as to what it was that I was taking a picture of. So, off I go to the wonderful world of the Internet information highway. This is what I found, about this picture.
The EA-18G, currently being delivered to the U.S. Navy, will be the cornerstone of the naval Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) mission. Derived from the combat proven F/A-18F aircraft, the EA-18G incorporates advanced AEA avionics bringing transformational capability for suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD) and non-traditional electronic attack operations
The graphics on the trailer of this truck was something to call home about. I wonder how they do these things?
Well, we are at the end of the month and it is time to close for now.
Until the next time, be safe and maintain the distance.
