Views from Nevada to California then through Utah and Colorado

We are going South on I-15 and most of the landscape is desert.  Today you could see the haze from the fires in the south, that the wind was bringing up.  The traffic was as usual, as you can see, one car after another.  Sometimes on Fridays the cars are bumper to bumper, for they are all in a hurry to come to Las Vegas to lose their hard earned money.
We are now heading North on I-15 into the Virgin River Gorge.  On occasion, if you are lucky, you will see Big Horn Sheep along side the road.  Just a few months ago I was luck to see six of them just standing along the road, watching the traffic.  The gorge is mostly in Arizona and it is beautiful to see.  It is different every time you go through it, due to the light that reflects off the mountains.
The rock formations as you go through the gorge are so different.  And after a rain, the colors of the mountains change colors, from the grays, browns, greens to deep purples and reds.  The desert is always changing, which makes it interesting to travel through no matter what time of day.  Nights you don't see much, except for the occasional deer, coyote, rabbit, and Mountain Sheep.
